Talents, or Potential Traits, are additional abilities that are added onto the character you play while in a match. It can be found under the "Persona" tab in the Notebook.

Overview[ | ]

Players can use the Survivors IconHelpLoading survivor to play the game to obtain the Survivor's four-dimensional attribute experience, which can improve the attribute's level; the Hunters IconHelpLoading hunter are the same. The level promotion of the attribute through obtaining points can obtain a universal Talent Point, which can activate the talent tree. The activation of some Talents is limited by the level of the corresponding personality attribute.

Talents are earned by being unlocked with talent points, which are achieved by increasing your Persona level by playing games.

  • Borrowed Time has no effect if the Survivor is tied to Balloons or placed on a Rocket Chair when the last Cipher Machine is completed. It also doesn't take effect on Mercenary if Steel Will is active.
  • Borrowed Time is often assumed to be carried on almost every survivor. Because of this a strategy around waiting to pop the final cipher is often used to heal whoever might've been downed, called 'priming' it.

  • When Tide Turner activates, the icons of the two Survivors will be surrounded by a blue circle. If the Hunter hits you while Tide Turner is active, the circle will become red and the text "Last Effort" will appear on the screen.
  • While Tide Turner is active, you can't hide in lockers, interact with slides, or roller coasters.
  • Borrowed Time can heal you while Tide Turner is active
    • If you are Terror Shocked during the effect, Borrowed Time cannot save you.
